I looked up the Tibor reel website and your reel is indeed stated to be for 6, 7 and 8 weight rods and it has enough capacity for 6-7-8w WF floating lines with from 210 to 230 yards of 20lb test backing, in my book more (even much more!) than plenty enough for the kind of fishing you intend to do (you could even go up to 30lb test backing)
